I tried it once, I didn't like the way the caliper was positioned on the rotor.....i think part of the pad
area would be off the rotor or something....it was a while ago. Plus my hard brake line nuts were
rounding off, so i just left mine stock. Of coarse I did this way back before there were kits, so i had
to track down all the individual pieces seprately which was a b!tch.
Early MKIV had a big siezing problem.
The advantage is that the pistion of the caliper is a bit bigger, and it is lighter, cuz it is made of
al-loom-min-ium.
