Sounds like warped rotors. Main culprit with these is improper
torquing of the lug bolts. It usually happens when someone just
uses an air gun, which is fast, but over-torques the bolts.
When the rotor heats up really hot, then it becomes just a little
bit flexible, and the bolts holding on the rotor too tight and/or in
differing pressures can cause the rotor to warp.
The fix is either resurfacing (done at your local auto parts store
for free if you buy the pads from them), or replacement. I've
heard, but can't sustain, that the VR6 rotors aren't built for
resurfacing, and that replacement is necessary. You'll have
search the archives for that info, or ask around.
