5x112, Not sure of the offset. So if the question you're getting to is
whether they'll fit on your GTi, the answer is no. The only VW's that
should share the same wheel dimensions are the new Passat and Beetle.

  Uhh, not right.  The New Beetle has the 5x100, as does the A4 body Golf....
but not the Audi A4, which DOES have 5x112... yeah, that's it... which means
you will be able to swap wheels from the A3 to the A4 body cars.  But not
Audi's... christ this is confusing...
