I put in an AP Racing clutch last year and it is already slipping.

Today the new clutch went in, Velocity dual fiber with stock pressure plate
and another L&B flywheel. WARNING on the AP clutch. Yeah, it holds great,
but it will dig some major grooves into the pressure plate and flywheel.
The disc itself is almost like new. If I can find a good camera, I will
post pictures of the grooves in the pp.
I would definitely NOT use the AP clutch again. This clutch is only for
those who need tons of gripping power and don't care how long it will last.

Also since the dealer put in the clutch last year, I have had troubles with
shifting. I had an independant shop put in my new clutch and they said (and
showed me) that none of the clutch actuators or the splines on the main
shaft were greased as they should have been when the dealer put in the
clutch a year ago. For those with shifting troubles, you might want to make
sure everything is lubricated properly. I have only driven a few miles on
the new clutch, but I can already tell that everything is going to be OK.

I had one but it chewed through my pressure plate and flywheel in less than
10,000 miles. The friction material is too course for a street car IMHO.
It is center sprung, and drivability is good, but plan on doing a clutch job
every year.
