What, you're gonna make me haul my video camera down to the garage and
take pictures?

I've got two sets of front struts downstairs. One from a 95, one from
my 97. Both are made by Braunschweig (which I *think* *may* be a
division of TRW). 1998s are the same. I've examined several sets of
rears from different years. All are Monroe (Belgian).

Believe your own eyes, (read the labels), not "what you're told" by
unnamed sources.

You can see (but unfortunately not read) the labels on the front struts
at http://wso.net/ross/images/strut95.jpg
Pull one of your front wheels and you'll find it no problem.

The rears don't actually have labels. They have "Monroe" and "Made in
Belgium". stamped/embossed/engraved right in the body near the very
bottom. Crawl under that car and you'll find this as well...

Au contrair, mon frere. See http://www.monroe.com/monroe/worldop.htm for a
map of Monroe's operations worldwide, including two sites in Belgium.
