Hi All

It's a long story but I need a new power steering pump fro my 95 GLX. Anyone
know much I can expect to pay for it. The guy quoted me $650 for the pump +
1.67 hrs install ? Is that accurate. Thanks.

Just use one off an 85-92 Golf or Jetta. They look different, but everything
hooks up the same way. Of course, swap the v-belt pulley for your serpentine
kind if you get a used one. A reman is about $100. Install should take about
an hour.

Did you hit a parking curb? They always take out the low pressure fitting.

An A2 power steering pump (with transferred VR6 pulley) will bolt up. All VR6
pumps are interchangable, too. AFAIK all VR6 oil pans are identical, too.
Doubt a wrecking yard will let you scavenge one of those, though.
