Upon re-reading the label on my Pentosin container: "Synthetic
automotive hydraulic fluid". Contents:
White mineral oil, Distillates of petroleum- dewaxed light paraffinic,
Amines, polyethylene compounds...
Says also it's safe for use in hydro-pneumatic suspensions and shock
absorbers.
If the Valvoline fluid contains similar materials, I'd assume it's
safe to use. Pentosin is expensive at $CDN 33/litre (about $25 US).
How much is the Valvoline stuff?
