I have been hearing mixed opinions about the 350mm versus the
360-365mm wheel in an A3 Golf. People say the 350mm blocks the
gauges but this is the size wheel Momo uses in their ads with the
european model A3.

Also what size is the stock wheel, mine is in the shop now until next
week and I want to order this this weekend.

I use the 89 and later hub right? Any special tools or mods needed?
Airbag is already gone.

thanks

Chris

I have a Momo Monte Carlo which is 350mm. Trust me, it does **NOT** block my view
of the gauges - at all. And I'm one tall MoFo, which increases the chance of getting my
view cut off. Anybody telling you it cuts off view either has never seen one or drives
with their head sticking up and out the sunroof....

BTW I really LIKE the thing.. the slightly smaller diameter RULES, it feels a helluva lot
better than the thin spindly stock thing, the horn button is where it belongs, in the
middle, and I don't have to worry about breaking an arm or fingers during an airbag
detonation...

I have a Momo Monte Carlo too, but mine is a 320mm (12.6 inches), I'm
6'-2"
and I can see my dash and guages clearly. The smaller steeringwheel
also
aids in getting in and out of the car as I no longer have to tuck my
legs under the stock steeringwheel.

Ditto.
