Ray Burnette is the dealership that I have been going to exclusively for
the past few years.  Your service advisor, Cesar is a long time car
veteran.  The problem that you had was from a grungy mechanic.  I was
talking to my buddy (asst service mrg, Kyle) and the first thing he said
was, "have him bring his car in right away and we'll clean up that shit".
If you want the detail job, let me know and it'll be no big deal.  They are
a mod (extremely) friendly dealership.  NEVER goto VW Springfield.

I know 3 of the 4 service advisors well and a few mechanics that'll even
let me borrow their tools.  Don't give up just yet.  You need to request
Pete to do your regular service/alignments.

When VW calls with the survey and you blast them, it'll reflect on Cesar
and not the mechanic.  It's not fair, but that's the way it's setup.

I have to agree with Ben on this one.  When the rack and pinion on my '96
failed at only 43,000 miles Ray Burnette swapped it out under my extended
warranty.  During the alignment of the car the mechanic cracked my
Euro-chin spoiler while trying to get my Bilstein Sport/SPAX springs
lowered car on the rack.  It wasn't a large crack and I probably wouldn't
have noticed until later, but Kyle immediately offered to replace it at no
charge.  I guess I could've just thrown a fit and stormed out but sometimes
you have to give people a chance to correct their mistakes.
