Well I think you guys should know. ND is not as perfect as
you think!
Now I have done a lot of business with them over the last
3.5 years.
The first time, which I did not post, that I had a problem,
was back in late august of last year. I ordered a rear
stress bar ( neuspeed- like the triangulation) I was told it
would ship in about a week. it did not come, Then I was told
2 more weeks. Did not come. I wanted it for the 20th of
sept, which was my birthday and my final Auto-X of the year
through the corvette club. Well it did not arrive until mid
october over a month later.
Well I figured this was an instance.
Now 2 weeks ago I ordered 2 vibratechnics mounts. One they
had in stock the other "I was told" is waiting to come in on
an order they had already placed over a month ago. OK. I pay
for the LR mount and I'll wait. Now what I have is actually
a severed front mount. When the RR comes in 4 days later I
install it make my discovery and then order the front. I was
again "told" this mount would be in with the new shipment
due any day as they expected it weeks ago. . This is what I
was told AGAIN! I gave them my plastic #'sfor the front
mount and then I wait.
So now you guys are trying for a group purchase .....
I called Todd at Air and Water ( nice Guy , met him at
treffen). He sold his last one days earlier to Bob Brown.
and said he could get them from ND , I told him he would
probably have to wait as well because of the order.
Well I just got off the phone with them again and now the
story is " it will be 6-8 weeks as they have to be custom
made then shipped."
What the hell Why did they not tell me this in the first
place. This is familiar territory between me and ND.
Also I had the web page in front of me and it listed the
cost as ( fortunately ) 20 bucks higher than what he quoted
me, he even said that is the norm price , no special. Do you
guys pay more for ordering from the web site?
I have dealt with them before many times and have never
posted on their problems until now. This is not the first
time , as only for the first time DID I give them the
benefit of the doubt. Now I must look else where as I was
told any day to what is now going to be 6-8 weeks.
