Old Library

I have had a problem with my car starting since I bought it (not new).  ON my
95 jetta GLX, it will just turn and turn and try to start it, but sometimes it
won't o.  A lot of the time, it takes three attempts to start the car.  I
can't find a variable in this equation (i.e. gas pedal in/out).  Any ideas on
why it won't start? Also, first thing in the morning it fires right up, but
after driving, then it won't.

cool I am glad that I can help with this....I have had this problem...it is
one of two things...either the fuel pump it's self or the check valve on the
return line...It however sounds like the check valve in the pump...mine did
the exact same thing....go down to the local junk yard and buy a fuel pump
97-98 they are all interchangable.
