You could try but I think it might be a major hassle.. unless they can track the problem
down to the wires. Your starting problems could be ECU-related, as others with late
'97's have experienced here. What's your born-on date? (Check driver's side door
jamb). Mine's very early, 8/96, and did not have the start-up problems (also has red
wires..). Also I have heard that the red wires aren't necessarily any great upgrade from
the black ones anyways. Might be time for some aftermarket wires..
