I changed my Tranny mount a while back.. if you get the right extensions
for your socket it's cake. I can't remember if I used instructions from
the library or the turn2 site (www.turn2usa.com) I changed it our when
I got the Turn2 mount so I didn't really have any problems before. Just
be sure you've go the right tools and it shouldn't take you more than 45
minutes at most even for an unskilled mechanic. Just be sure you keep
track of what bolt goes through what holes. I spend 30 minutes trying
to figure out why the holes didn't align when I lowered the engine back
down only to find out I was trying to line up the wrong holes :o/
Here's, I think, a brief rundown of how to do the tranny mount. Someone
with more experience pipe in if I'm wrong.
.Undo the bolt on the front mount
.Attach extensions (a universal joint works well here). The best way to
get to the bolt I found was to attach the socket to the extension, fit
it through the ABS lines (carefully) and get it on the bolt ready to be
turned, then attach the wrench to the extension and go at it. You'll
see where it helps to have the universal here. Leave the extension in
position for replacing the bolt later.
.Remove the tranny mount bolt.
.With a 2x4 between the oil pan and the lift, raise the engine WAY WAY
WAY up until you can remove the tranny mount from it's position
[
This pic illustrates how far up you can lift the engine:

.Exact opposite for putting it back.
Good luck and feel free to contact me with any questions
