The dyno results are posted from this weekends dyno testing at Tom's
performance. You can see them all , and what cars had what mods at
http://www.gti-vr6.com/dynos/ . Will have photos up in the next couple
of days. Special thanks to Miguel Monroe for letting us use his web
site.
Seven cars were tested including the 944, 5 VR6s , and a 16V.
Highlights included AMS supercharged GTI put 250 HP to the rollers, Bone
stock GTI put out as much HP as my car .Norm saved a women's life at
taco Bell. Jon's 16V w/ TT exhaust put out 98 HP with 200K and more
torque than factory ratings. 944 w/ Wettrauer chip put 225 down on the
ground, Todd's yellow New dimensions plug wires put out more HP than the
red! That's about it besides the fact that my fan didn't come one and my
car over-heated and the plenum in my manifold was stuck open during my
runs :-( more dyno testing in the near future once I get a few things
straightened out. Anyone still interested in dynoing their car I'll be
going back out sometime next week. I can set something up for multiple
cars. It's BYOF ( bring your own FAN!!!!!) The shops not front wheel
drive friendly......................
