Does anyone know how to tighten up the throttle cable in a 98 GTi VR6 in
order to make the throttle
peddle more responsive to pressure? I have seen and drove some rice rockets
with this mod and
would like to know if it is possible on our v-dubs.

Look closely at your throttle body. See the bracket that holds the cable
to the TB? It has an adjustment nut for cable slack. Tighten it just
enough to get rid of your slack , not so much that the TB cam starts to
turn (idle will be off).
