There was someplace that was mentioned to be a cheaper place to get the
software through... Does anyone know of the place or anyone offering a
discount on uwe ross software??

Not a discount on the software, but a discount on the overall package.

He makes his own connector and cable, sells it for like $75.  He gives you a
shareware copy of Uwe's software so you can try it out (just like you can
when you download from Uwe's site for free). Then if oyu want to register
it, you send Uwe $99.  So the overall cost is $175 as opposed to $199.

He's not ripping off Uwe's software, in fact he has Uwe's permission to do
this.

The Shareware can clear codes, and read a lot of modules, but not all of
them....i think Uwe lists what limitations there are.
