I don't know how different the Kamei intakes are  from the ABD intakes, 
but here goes.  The ABD intakes had tabs molded in to the intake that 
were supposed to wedge the thing in where the reflectors clipped in.  
The didn't come near fitting and the tabs had to be ground down to 
work...  But don't grind too much off, or you are screwed, the things 
will fall out.  Seeing as how these things were hand laid 'glass, 
someone else may have had a set that fit perfect, due to the variances 
in production.  I guess this really doesn't matter, seeing as how they 
were not the Kamei ones, but it relates...  I guess.  I bet the Kamei 
intakes are engineered much better.  I should've gotton those, but that 
car is gone now, so yeah, it really doesn't matter.  Sorry I couldn't 
help

Richard:

Two members of Venom have 'em in their bumper and they are easy to install
and easy to steal!   Once you take-out your fogs and the dummy reflector,
you just slide the scoop in, but there isn't any way to secure them to the
car (that I'm aware of.)  They also seem rather cheap (in quality) to me,
and way too expensive, but thats just my opinion.

Yes the Kamei ones are a simple snap in with no fitment problems 
at all. Just talked to one of my employees who installed his. The 
Kamei ones are made of plastic also.
