Gents,
Before my last oil change, I got the K&N filter sealing grease from New
Dimensions. I was concerned about making a complete seal with the K&N, based
upon debris observation both before (with stock paper) and after the K&N
install.
The grease works great, does not break down or run (as advertised), and kept
s super-complete seal around the perimeter of the filter. I'd recommend
using it if you have the K&N drop-in panel filter. I'd venture to guess that
it would help with the stock filter as well.
