Thanks for the reply.I'm looking at the third picture from the top. The
part # is printed on the metal part of the motor. 1HO 959 801. The passenger
side is then 1HO 959 802. Those are the part #'s for the one touch down only motors.

 I just installed a 1HO 959 801A for the driver's side window motor. Surprise, surprise!! I now have
one-touch auto-up & auto-down.  1HO 959 802A will give you the one touch auto-up & down feature on the
passenger side.

  '96 VR6 GTI

The '98 VR6 GTI definitely had [one-touch up]. It would be helpful to see if that part
# matches, or what other vehicle has the same part # as the '98.

My "friend" was able to locate the entries in ETKA for the window
regulators.  I personally can't make heads or tails out of it.

The front motors with the "A" designation are one-touch up. Going by that,
the rear motors with the "B" should do the same for the rears.
