I am installing the dual Hella Horns with Compressor. I am just going to
disconnect the Horn and wire up the compressor. One thing where is the
Horn. The bently doesn't show or even Index "HORN". I have heard two ways,
the Alarm Horn is also the normal Horn, and vice versa there are two
horns..

Any ideas?

The Bentley book shows two different horns for the alarm & the "regular"
horns. In my 95 GTI VR6, I can see one horn on the bottom front of the
passenger side, directly under the charcoal cannister and the air
conditioner's "receiver drier" (metallic cylinder about 3" diam x 6" tall).

Actually, there are two horns in that location, one above another.

I don't know where the other horn is.

I believe that it is in the driver's side fender well, possibly tucked
up near the top of the strut tower.....

The other horn is located under the driver's side wheelwell. You have to
take the front wheel off and take out the lining to get the the horn, a
major hassle.

I have the twin trumpet horns wired so my main horns are the Hella's, but
the factory alarm still runs off the small second horn under the fron
wheelwell. This save a lot of headaches in arming and disarming the
alarms, since the Hella's are quite loud.

Mmmm, not on my 96 GLX, the horn is located behind the windshield wiper
motor, and the b*tch was taking apart my wheel well liner and not finding
it. :P

It was quite tricky getting it unplugged, too, as the bars that run from the
wiper motor to the wipers run right in front of the horn, so I had to use
one of those hook-ended tools to grab the metal clip part of the wiring
harness and yank. It came free eventually. ;)

Note that you will most likely have to remove the wiper system completely to
get the sucker back in should you be in the same boat and decide to pull it.

Cheers,
