A fix for broken ventilation fan dial switch

Just spent a few minutes with the wiring diagram trying to refresh my memory
as to what was funny about the A/C switch. If memory serves me correctly,
the A/C switch would work (light on and compressor engaged) in positions 1,
2, and 3 (but with no blower) and the blower would work in position 4, but
no A/C switch. As near as I can tell, what happened in my case is there is
a non-replaceable fuse in the resistor pack that blew, which breaks the
connection between position 4 on the blower switch and the A/C switch.
There's some bizarre current flow in that circuit - at least the way I
understand it.

I hope this helps. I ordered a new resistor pack from Adirondak Auto
Brokers. It was about $27 shipped. Takes about 30 min. to install.

Later,

Luke
