Ack, can't think of anyone who's going to wait a week more for a connector.

I ended up cutting the PZwo end off, and putting flat male disconnects on.
I then used wire taps on the car size behind the stock plugs. That way
the plugs are still on the car in case I ever need to put the
stock lights back in.

Total cost, about $7.

To each their own, I suppose.... *I* prefer to have things appear as
close to stock as possible, and have nothing "hacked" into the car that
can be avoided. :)

From what it looks, this will be a plug-n-chug adapter. No hassle
dicking around with taps and figuring out what wire is what (If I
remember correctly, you have to cut the plug off the 'zwo lights to even
see what wire is what color, I may be wrong, I don't have the lights
handy) Plug one end into the 'zwos, plug 3 wires into the GTI light
connectors, and tap into the side marker lights (if city lights are
needed)... Plus, if you decide to plug in your old lights for whatever
reason, the adapter will make that swap a breeze... My friend is
"guess-timating" the cost to run $15-20 for a pair.

If anyone is interested, please email me directly, and i'll start a
list... He should have a few sets ready by Friday. :)

The custom wiring harness adapters for the Projektzwo dual round lights
are DONE!

I have a quick pic available at:

http://users.sgi.net/~vwsport/gti/connex.jpg

I test wired this set into my Projektzwo's and they worked flawlessly.
Only thing that the pic does not show is I have added a twist of
electrical tape around the end connectors to prevent any chance of
accidental shorting out... The long wires in the pic are for the city
lights, and are wired in with wire-taps.

The only bad news is that this is the only set my friend has made
since the parts cost a little more than he was figuring on. If anyone
is interested, he'll put together additional sets for $30 plus $3
shipping in the USA and include a small diagram as to what plug into
what. Some of the parts are special order, so he will only make them
after payment arrives... I guess he don't want to get stuck with 20
sets of adapters, in the event payment never arrives..... :)

They sure do make the install clean and a lot easier! (Also makes
swapping the lights out to put the original lights back in a breeze!)
(I also plugged them into my Hella's dual rounds, and they work in those
as well!) :)

Any interest, email me as i'm going to handle this for him... (My
payback for a getting a free set of adapters!) :)
