In order for the back of the lights to clear, you need to move the radiator
back about a half-inch. The core pivots along the bottom, allowing you to
drill a new mounting hole in the brace along the top and slide the top of
the core back the required 1/2". There's more than enough room to work with.
I've had mine in since last summer and have noticed no detrimental effects
on the A/C or cooling system here in Central TX.

In the Hella Katalog this grill has a note "nicht in Kombination mit
Klimaanlage"
which translates as "not in combination with air conditioning system".
I assume it blocks the A/C heat exchanger.
