First off, thank you one and all for the TON of email concerning my
car.  I never imagined i'd get that many positive comments about it. I
also got a TON of mail asking about the Votex grille, Hella taillights
and the Bonrath wiper conversion.  In order for everyone to get answers,
i'll combine the info and add to this message, for if I had to email
people individually, i'd be up the rest of the night.


 WHEELS - projektzwo 16x7.5" I do believe. 37mm offset.


 VOTEX GRILLE - It's a TOUGH find.  It took me about a year and a half
to find one and have it imported from Germany.  The fog lights are made
by CIBIE and are part of the grille.  You can remove them, but there
would be 2 large gaping holes where they were.  I don't have the spec
sheet handy, so I don't know the wattage off hand.  I have enough
light on the car now, so I am not going to wire them in anytime soon.
Hella makes a grille that is similar and is listed in the 98 D&W
catalog, so it should be no problem getting imported.  Alot of the
mail order houses will order from D&W for you if asked.  Try emailing
BRAD @ VWSPORT (&#118;wsport&#64;cias<img src=/i/dc.gif border=0 width=35 height=15>) and asking if he can get the Hella
grille...  (I *know* he couldn't locate the Votex grille, I tried to
have them get it at one point... ;)


 HELLA BLUE TAILLIGHTS - The lenses are BLUE.  There are inner lenses
that are the correct colors (red, white and amber) that show through
the blue lens in true color (ex: backup lights are still white and
show as WHITE).  Legality will be a thing that varies by state.  I have
been pulled over once for them in the 4 months that they have been on
the car, and after the officer checked the PA vehicular code book, I
was told that they are legal in PA and sent on my way with an apology.
There is a 1" or so crack on the driver side lens as well as a section
of the black border that was cracked and reglued (both are visable in
the picture I have on the web).  Price is $100 plus shipping and that is
firm.  I have a ton of email on this, but everyone wanted more info...
this was it.  LMK if anyone wants them.  If not, i'll hold on to
them......


 BONRATH wiper - This was obtained from CFI Motorsport in NJ who I
hightly recommend..  Fantastic service.  Willing to answer questions,
give install pointers, etc... $260 shipped.  NOT CHEAP but well worth
the cost IMHO.  You can DYI and save a few bucks, but this is a nice
kit!!  Install fairly easy.  Anyone handy with tools should have
no problems.
