The small jumper that looks like
_____
[ ] will allow the high and lows to work together.

The one that looks like

Allows the fogs to be on with the highs.
And to answer your question, yes, it works with the old switch.
See..
http://rintintin.colorado.edu/~frechett/stuff/dark1.jpg
which was taken after the pzwo install, prior to the Euroswitch.
I found that without the bridge in place the fogs didn't work at all
which is puzzling given that the Pzwo kit only comes with the first
jumper. I made the bridge myself with two male crimp on spade connectors
and a short length of wire. Perhaps the Euroswitch makes the fogs work
again without the bridge, and adding the bridge then only adds the fogs
with high feature. Anyone?
With bridge and jumper in place, all the Euroswitch really adds is
the ability to turn the running lights on by themselves, and the fogs on
with the running lights. Interestingly it removes one option I had with
the stock switch, which was to run the fogs and DRLs only. It isn't
obvious but the stock N/A switch has a resting position with the fogs on,
but the switch not turned to the full on position (maybe a design defect,
but occasionaly useful). The euroswitch only allows you to pull the fogs
on, when it's in the middle or right position.
