Am I the only one getting annoyed with those front seat plastic trays?
There just too small for anything usefull plus I keep catching
my foot on it as I exit my car a curse for having big feet I guess.

Yesterday I caught my foot again and finnaly the drivers side broke,
I broke the screw mount at the front. So today being almost 60,
I washed and waxed it for the winter and took a look to see if those
seat trays could be removed.

They come out with just a bit of clever figeting. 1 screw up front,
remove the screw holding the seat elivation lever at the side and
remove the lever. Theres a side cover that has two hidden buttons
that have to be popped out to relase them. once the side cover is
loose, remove the seat back hinge pin, tip the seat back forward
and pull the seatback frame off the pin. There is a lug at the
back of the seat the seat back claps on to but there is a allen bolt
that comes out to remove the plastic spacer and relases the plastic
tray.

The only problem is they cut the leather/cloth at the front of the seat
to secure the side of the tray with a clip to the frame so to look nice
some sewing was needed.

I like it much better without the trays, it looks cleaner and less
cluttered.
