If you don't mind fabricating your own, you could do it for about $40 in
parts.  Stainless steel wire cloth #4 (4 openings per inch) is $39.99 for 
a 24"x36" piece from Pegasus Auto Racing Supplies.  If you can work sheet metal, 
you can work this.

When I made my custom wire mesh grille, I used "gutter guard" from the
local home improvement store. It's fairly stiff stuff so it won't bend or
flex like the cheapo insect netting the riceboys like to use. They came in
two forms: one is a 36"x6" piece of really stiff stuff, and another is a
roll of softer mesh. Use the stiff stuff. It's a bitch to work with, tho,
so get a good pair of tin snips. You might also want to spray several coats
of clearcoat on it so it doesn't fade after a while. Good luck.
