Philip,
It is a straight forward install. The rear door handles install easier than
the handles with lock cylinders. This is self evident once you remove the
front handles and grasp how the area and components interact and work.
Don't worry, this is a no-brainer when you start unbolting and removing the
handles...

There is only one allen bolt to remove on the side of the door. This holds
the handle in place... Once this bolt is removed you have to turn the key in
the lock cylinder at 45 degree angle and pull the handle towards the front
of the car while lifting the handle away from the door. Then remove the
handle from the car door.

TO install the rear door handle, is much easier, b/c you don't have to deal
with the lock cylinder during the reverse of the above process!

You're about to learn of the easiest thing to replace on our cars- the handle is
held on by ONE bolt, either a torx bit, or a flathead, jsut inside the door where
the handle is. unbolt it, press forward on the handle, and it pops off. You
might have to turn the lock cylinder a bit to get it off, but it's easy. I
replaced mine with ones that have no keyhole (Jetta rear), since I have keyless
entry.
