Got the Bonrath hood struts from EXC for $64+tax (no shipping, picked up
personally).  Only advantage is no drilling of the fender.  Worth a couple
of dollars to me not to have to drill into my car.

By the way, Neuspeed P-lifts are Bonrath units with a Neuspeed sticker
(actually a set I ordered for a Rabbit I used to have came in a Bonrath
box/stickers and German instructions).  Bonrath sells em for around $55-58,
depending on exchange rates.  Neuspeed has one hell of a mark-up, IMHO.

I use the Bonrath P-Lift on my car. PG Performance http://www.pgperformance.com
carries JOM hood lifts.
