Go to Home Depot and by the outdoor double sided tape. I think it is .75"
thick. You will need 1.5 rolls to do the job. Total cost = $4.50. Its in
the adhesives eisle.

Sean, I don't have any 3M tape but I do have a $3.00 alternative that I have
used with very good results. When my trim started to come lose I pulled it
off a little more cleaned both the trim and paint under the trim with rubbing
alcohol. Then I used Automotive Goop to glue it back on. I used tape to
hold the trim in place while the goop setup--maybe 30 minutes. I have
probably done this on both ends of each piece of trim on the car one time or
another. Never had to do one more than once. Try it it works.

As far as posting "real content" you must be fairly new here because that is
not required or even expected based on what I read every day. For the record
I like it that way!

Hey Scott,

Is 'Automotive Goop' the brand name of this adhesive? Where did you buy
yours?

Thanks!
Monica :)

Moni, yeah Goop is the brand name.
There is Auto Goop, Wood Goop, Plumbers Goop and several others. I have seen
it in the wood/tool superstores and hardware stores. I always have the Auto
on hand because it withstands high temps, I use it to seal the exahust on my
dirt bike.
And before anyone asks I am not affialiated with Goop in any way, but I sure
do use a lot of it!
